Trendy Thursday - Indian Arrival Day

Not a lot of people know this but my Great-Grams on my mother's side came on that boat from India so although we don't really do anything special, it still holds a place in my heart - I even own a piece of her jewelry, a simple ring.

Today's Nail Art: Indian Arrival Day

My Take: White Sari

Do you see the layers in this glitter sandwich?

For me it represents the layers of beauty in a Sari - the Traditional Female Indian Wear which i adore and take every chance and opportunity i get to wear one ;) 

It's the only time i get to go over the top with jewelry and make-up and everything - whoo hoo!!!  

I got that from my mother :D

Trendy Thursdays - Purple

This one was a little tricky.
I wanted to try something i have never attempted before, mainly because i didn't own any Jelly Nail Polishes. But wait - I did!
Sinful Color in Daddy's Little Girls is a Jelly with Glitters.
Only after applying it then i realize that for this technique i should have gone a different direction.
I paired it with Kleancolor's Aurora which carries iridescent chunky glitters with stars also.
My Adventure in Samwiching Began... 
When i tried to take pictures, the flash washed out the glitters but i think i got some shots where u can barely make then out.

Today's Nail Art: Purple
My Take: Glitter Samwich 

This won't be my last attempt at Glitter Samwich...

I hereby dub the year 2013 "The Year of the Gradients"

I have been loving gradient nails recently and it's all i want to do...

This one is a Glitter Gradient.

I used Kleancolor Fashionista and then sponged on Kleancolor Gold Nirvana.

Haul - Confessions of a Bargain Hunter

When i recently hauled the Beauty Treats 88 Professional Warm Palette, i had my eyes on the Shimmer Palette also but when i tested out the Neutral - WOW!!! Talk about quality. I don't know how it compares to all the other 88 Professional Palettes on the market but i do know that this one is a winner. The prices is very affordable and for the quality of the shadows well worth it...

I grabbed them all - As you can see.

I don't think i'll be needed Palettes in a while.

You've Been Swatched - Color Club (Where's the Soiree)

My pride and joy of a stark black nail polish. It doesn't gets better than this for me. I absolutely love this black. Great for stamping also. Would you believe this is only one coat. 

Paired with Kleancolor "Sugar Coat" - Outstanding!!!
Makes a great base to portray any glitter and it's beauty.
