Got a little Haul and i thought i'd share it with you guys. The first 2 earrings were from Hudson Bay in Price Plaza, Chaguanas. The other 3 earrings were from Alla Fair in Gulf City Mall. Nail Polishes and Eyeliner - Wonderful World in Gulf City Mall. Enjoy...
But these product are so good, i must mention them.
I've heard so many review on this one product, when i saw it in Pennywise i just knew that i had to try it because i normally use Oil of Olay Makeup Removing Wipes which is a bit costly.
Eshe had good things to say also - check her out here.
Simple Baby Moisturising Wipes
These clips are so inexpensive but so useful. I use these when I'm styling my hair.
Sectioning Clips
I use these sponges for applying powder to my face. The white one though I'm very new to and didn't know what i was in for...
This morning i wanted to try out my new fluffy powder puff so i took it out of the packaging and the hubs was standing right in front of me when i just ever so lightly dusted his face with all the fluffiness you can imagine. A huge amount of shimmer was left on his face where ever the fluff touched.
OMG!!! This was right before work this morning. Well i don't have to tell you the rest...
But i had a field day with it after i found out it was packed with shimmer.
All shimmery this morning :) Oh! The perfect applicator for Urban Decay Ebidle Body Shimmer.
Cotton Powder Puff
Face and Body Puff
This is by far the best reasonably price body wash i have ever use. Won't be changing it any time soon but i am trying out all the scents.
Suave Body Wash
This is my first gel liner. Not a fan of the brush but it's still so cute.
Eyeliner Gel
I'm a huge fan of Neutral Colours so this simple palette caught my eyes but i am a bit disappointed with the matte brown one (the last one to the bottom). It just didn't want to swatch but the others were so soft n beautiful. For that price - well worth it.
Neutral Eye Shadow Palette
And finally, i just can't seem to see glitter and leave it alone.
Every kitchen should have a personal recipe for Banana Nut Bread.
One slice with your morning coffee or tea and you are set for the day.

Banana Nut Bread Recipe adapted from Caribbean Pot's Youtube Channel with my personal tweak. Ingredients: 1/2 cup Butter (Room Temperature) 1 1/2 cups Granulated Sugar 1/2 tsp Salt 1/4 cup Buttermilk* 2 Eggs (Room Temperature) 1 tsp Vanilla Extract or Essence 2 cups Flour 1/2 tsp Baking Powder 1 tsp Baking Soda 1/4 tsp Cinnamon 1/8 tsp Nutmeg 4 Bananas (Over-ripe) 1/2 cup Chopped Nuts** Method:
Cream together the room temperature butter, sugar and salt.
Add the buttermilk, vanilla and eggs to the creamed mixture and mix well.
Sift all the dry ingredients and fold into the creamed mixture until smooth. Do not overwork or the batter will get tough.
Mash bananas to a smooth consistency. Add to batter and fold. Remember do not overwork your batter.
Add chopped nuts.
Grease and flour your baking pan. (Loaf Pan, Bundt Pan, etc.)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Bake for approx. 1 hour and 15 mins but after the 1 hour mark, do the toothpick test and if it's wet, give it the extra 15 mins but watch closely.
Be Prepared...
Your House is Gonna Smell Amazing...
NOTES:
*Buttermilk in Trinidad is expensive and don't keep very long even when refrigerated. So i make my own. Pour one (1) teaspoon vinegar or lemon juice into measuring cup and add enough milk to bring the liquid up to the one quarter (1/4) cup line. Let stand for five (5) minutes.
**Typical Banana Nut Bread usually calls for Walnuts but i used what ever i had in the freezer that day which was pecans. Freeze your nuts (hehehe) to prevent it from turning rancid.
If the top gets to the nice golden brown color that you are looking for, cover with foil and continue baking till done.
Guaranteed you will want to make this Banana Nut Bread every time...
And even after i bashed my toes in, i still hopped around holding things with every possible part of my body, well, until one of the sales rep came and helped me.
I guess i was her charity case that day!
Girl with the Bashed in Toe!
Still Hurts!
:'(
Any ways, down to the good stuff!!!
